Byte Budz is an innovative student led organization dedicated to introducing elementary school children to the exciting world of coding. Through interactive lessons, engaging activities, and hands-on projects, Byte Budz aims to inspire the next generation of tech enthusiasts and problem solvers. The program empowers high school students to serve as mentors (aka 'Budz'), creating a collaborative learning environment where young learners can explore the fundamentals of programming in a fun and accessible way.
Byte Budz operates as an afterschool or weekend program that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and a passion for technology. It provides structured classes tailored to younger audiences, covering coding basics, simple game development, and foundational concepts in computer science. The initiative also seeks to encourage fellow high school students to establish similar chapters, ensuring that more children can benefit from early exposure to coding. Byte Budz is on a mission to make coding education accessible, inspiring a diverse and inclusive generation of future tech leaders!
